Frequently Asked Questions

Are all of your products really made in the Carolinas?

Absolutely! Carolina businesses, artisans and craftspeople make all of our products. However, if a product is not made entirely in the Carolinas, it is noted in the description. Some Artwork may contain mixed media from other locations. Our products may be packaged in a basket or a box that is not made in the Carolinas.


Do you guarantee the quality of your products?

Absolutely! We are so confident of the exceptional quality of our products that we guarantee each and every item. If you aren't satisfied, just call our customer service team within 7 days of receiving your order and we'll take care of the problem. You're welcome to exchange any product* for something different. We will gladly issue a refund with proof of purchase. However, we cannot guarantee orders for which we are given incorrect or incomplete address.

*Food Items are only accepted for return/ exchange in an unopened condition..  Once the item has been opened, it is Non-Returnable.


How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Your package will arrive in 5-7 business days for standard shipping, depending on your location.  If you choose Express as your shipping option, it will normally arrive in 3-5 business days. Shipping time does not include the day the order was placed or weekends and holidays. Please add extra time during the holiday season and other observed holidays.


Can I have my order shipped to a PO Box or a military address (APO or FPO)?

Absolutely! Please use the “Express” shipping option. Your package will be shipped using US Postal Service.  It is a non-guaranteed method of shipping. Made In The Carolinas cannot be responsible for packages lost, stolen or otherwise missing. US Postal packages are normally delivered within 5 to 7 days. However, please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery.


Can I ship to several recipients in an order?

No, you can only ship to one recipient in an order.


Why can't I add items to my shopping cart?

When this happen, our experience is that your cookies may not be enabled. To use our site, your web browser must be set to accept cookies. To set your browser to accept cookies, look under "Preferences" or "Options" in your browser.  It is also quite possible that your employer's firewall may be blocking our cookies.


Why do I have to enable Cookies?

We use cookies to ease the purchasing process. Once you close the browser, the cookies are gone. Cookies are enabled by default in most browsers, and if you've disabled your cookies you may experience problems ordering.


How do I place an order?

It's simple. Once you've found something you like, enter the Quantity in the box and then click on the "Add To Cart" button. The product will be added into your shopping cart. When you've finished selecting items you'd like to purchase, just click on the "Checkout" button to complete the order and you will be redirected to PayPal to pay for your order.


Do I have to register at PayPal in order to pay for my order?

No, you do not.  After c licking “Proceed to Checkout” simply fill out the billing information and the Credit Card information.


May I place my orders by phone?

Absolutely! Feel free to contact our customer service team at 877-347-0727 for assistance.


What payment types does Made In The Carolinas accept?

We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa credit cards. We also accept e-checks. Your credit card will process at the same time when you click the "Complete My Order" button. Orders will be accepted if the credit card transaction has authorized. You will receive the confirmed order number once your order is accepted.


How long will it take for me to receive my confirmation?

You should receive your confirmation in your email box within 24 hours of placing your order.  If you do no receive any confirmation of your order within 24 hours of placing it, please call Customer Service at 877-347-0727 during Office Hours for assistance.


Can I change or cancel my order after it's been placed?

We place a high priority on filling and processing your order. It may be possible to change your order or cancel it within 24 business hours of placing it.  After those initial 24 hours have passed, your order is probably already on its way!


Do you share my personal information with anyone else?

Absolutely not! We respect your privacy. At no time will we disclose individually identifiable information to any third party. We will NEVER use customer information for purposes other than the efficient processing of your order. We DO NOT share customer information with other websites or marketing firms, and respect our customers' online privacy.
